UPDATE: FREE TRAINING CONFERENCE to be held in Alicante on March 30th is POSTPONED by following the emergency state declared by the Spanish Government and the own restrictions to all activities ordered by the University of Alicante as a result of the COVID-19 global outbreak. Further announcements regarding the celebration of this conference will be available as soon as the situation caused by this crisis will be back to normal.

One of the main TV channels in Spain, with national and International presence, UA as the BARBARA dissemination leader presented the advances in the Barbara Project and the work developed at the University of Alicante.
The national newspaper in Spain, "La Razón", has featured project Barbara this week in its I+D section. The publication includes several pages covering the rationale and basic principles of the project, the consortium and their different tasks, underlining the importance of valorisation of agri-food waste in the pursuit of a circular economy and the final applicability of the products obtained at this stage of the project.
