The problems rising from food and agricultural waste are a public concern on the national and European level, based on a rising economic and environmental impact and the pursuit of a bio-based economy. One of the main TV channels in Spain, with national and International presence, UA as the BARBARA dissemination leader presented the advances in the Barbara Project and the work developed at the University of Alicante, in addition, Mari Carmen Garrigos explained the tasks and objectives of the project (see video here, min 5'03'').
