Global Conference on Processes and Technologies Applied to Biomass

The French Bioeconomy Cluster is this year in charge of organizing the global Conference dedicated to Processes and Technologies Applied to Biomass, which will be held in Strasbourg, France in March 3th-6th. With more than 250 participants already signed up, The Conference Program will tackle topics such as advanced and innovative biomass pretreatment, technologies for biomass conversion and functionalization, extraction, separation and purification of biomass, process modelisation and analytical methods and tools or advanced fermentation. The Conference will also showcase more than 30 exhibitors in 1500sqm. Additionally, there will be matchmaking one-to-one B2B meetings as a prologue to the next BBI & Bioeconomy’s EU Project Information and Brokerage Event. CELABOR will give an oral presentation about “Combination of technologies to optimize extraction performance”, describing the BARBARA project as a successful example of the application of microwave and subcritical water extraction processes.
